Job challenges

Hello, dear readers and writers! The time frame is now 12:24 AM while I am writing this post. As you might have guessed, I am enjoying the night shifts.

(Image Source – TeePublic)

It’s my last week as an employee at this company, and now I have to switch between two jobs, 16 hours per day. About one thing I am positive, this is a challenge for me, but I am faithful and know that things will change starting with next week.

Overall, it’s more demanding, because I have to deal with two different tasks per day, and it can be overwhelming at times. I make sure to finish my job earlier so that I can get more sleep, but at times 4-5 hours of sleep, it’s a performance.

I wake up, take a shower, eat breakfast, and have coffee with my new colleagues from the second workplace then the training begins. I am lucky because the new job is friendly and easy to understand for the beginning.

I finish the second job at 6 PM, eat my second meal, get 2 hours of sleep, and start again with the night shift at 8 PM. I don’t get too much time for myself because I have to keep working and pay attention to my tasks.

Working on two jobs: pros and cons

When you are working two jobs, you are tired for sure. It drains you of any energy left, and the more tired you get, the more irritable you become. It’s essential to learn to control your attitude, as your loved ones are not at fault for this situation.

As a benefit, I think you can count on the fact you will considerably improve your skills and achieve more experience in a short time, and this will help you to build your resume.

The other reason will be, making money, of course. Everybody needs money for daily expenses, bills, credits, etc. Doubling the usual payment helps to cover all the expenses and save some for unexpected incidents.

Motivational words

At the end of the day, enjoy the ride, and get through every task, climbing peaks and valleys. Work with all your heart, and be happy with the results, work as if you would be working for your own business.

If you get the feeling that today was not enough, then rest and make tomorrow worthwhile. Set small goals and achieve them in time. Have faith in yourself and your abilities. Nobody can do a better job than you!

Lazy Monday Thoughts

Today is again, Monday. I say again because I do not know when this time passes, I feel that I can never fully enjoy the moments, to live the days that run out of the calendar.

I would sleep more, I would lie in bed, considering that in a few hours I have to prepare again for an endless week of work with a program loaded with core hours. But I cannot find my condition, I feel that I should do something and I stay instead.

Such a state of helplessness and lack of desire combined with an uneasiness of a tomb I have not had in a long time, or even ever. I think that those around me have the same feelings because I see them, I hear them shudder and they do not find their place, like insects lost somewhere in an early spring.

I would like to get out of bed, be active and make a difference today. But I do this every day, and when I have less desire to achieve something, then it all makes sense. Ironically, I would say.

Lazy cat, Fifi spreads softly on the soft and fine blanket and then rests again in a long sleep. His head is placed on his toes and his nose is stopped in the bushy tail. And I find myself looking at him as if I didn’t want to get out of bed like a lazy and comfortable cat in my turn.

It is months again and I seem to have lost all trace of desire and energy, feeling only the anxiety that embraces me like a snake, too tight. It’s hot weather though, but I wouldn’t want to enjoy it too early.

Lately, the sun and the hot weather have been like a chimera, appearing and disappearing at is will, without notifying when it arrives or when it leaves. I wish I could enjoy the sun’s rays and let myself be soothed by the warm expression of the wind, but it’s in a constant change.

I cover the sunbeam that emerges from the window with the heavy black curtain and I sit again in bed, moaning and enjoying the few minutes of sweet sleep remaining. It is only a matter of time until the alarm sounds again and I have to deal with Monday with the help of a bitter coffee.

But I still have 30 minutes… .

How to overcome fatigue accumulated during the week

Today, 4/18/2019, on Thursday I declare that I feel tired. Last week was extremely crowded, and on the weekend I worked and this week seems to be just as busy.At one point, in the middle of the week, I had the impression that I was pulling with all my strength to resist and face the challenges of every new day. But I never did it with the „charged” batteries. Thus, small mistakes have squeezed both in work and at home.

The most important thing is that I have learned to be perseverant and to treat every new aspect of my life. I have learned from mistakes and gradually build a new I every day, in a better way, despite all the obstacles from the outside, from nowhere.

Today, I thought it would be important to share with you, dear readers, some ideas and tips on how we could cope with the tiredness over the week.

In order to be able to recover our energy and daily activity we need to respect a few simple elements:

1. Nourishment

Everyday food has to be chosen according to the needs of the body, otherwise if we feel tired, then our interior is equally affected.

It is important to avoid large amounts of carbohydrates, especially unhealthy carbohydrates in sweets. Existing carbohydrates in sweets increase and then lower blood sugar, producing mood swings and fatigue.

But that does not mean we have to avoid carbohydrates altogether, because they are responsible for increasing serotonin levels (serotonin increases the level of well-being in the body). Thus, it is advisable to replace unhealthy carbohydrates with various healthy vegetables, fresh fruits or even cereals.

Also a good source of energy and vitality are the oil. Hazelnuts, caju, almonds are rich in protein and magnesium. The absence of magnesium in the body can lead to fatigue.

Selenium Complex, Omega 3, Magnesium and Vitamin B12 – are real adjutants in combating fatigue and lack of energy. From the meat category we recommend: pork meat (rich in tyrosine), fish meat (rich in Omega 3). A need for 20-25 g of fiber is needed every day.

Hydration on time – is very important in combating fatigue, as dehydration causes fatigue. Therefore, it is important to properly hydrate each day, respecting the average of 2.5 L of water.

Black chocolate – A square of dark chocolate in a snack increases the level of energy and good mood. Cocoa beans contain caffeine and theobromine (a caffeine-like compound).

2. Coffee
Coffee is the most recommended drink to combat fatigue. I do not know how it works for other people, but to me, short-term 🙂. Caffeine increases metabolism for the moment and improves concentration. So a coffee drank at different intervals of the day will help us maintain concentration and will prompt us to be alerted for a longer period of time.3. Passion for exercise

People who know me may admit that I’m joking. Seating at work for 8-9 hours a day and accumulated fatigue impedes the will to move. But, however, we have to try. It is important to get out of the chair once in a few hours, to let ourselves out with a few exercises, to go out to clean air to oxygenate our brains.

We have to practice at least 1 hour / 30 minutes a day of exercise during our free time. I recommend back exercises especially for people who work in the office and stay with their backs bent more and more. Also, exercises for hands and feet are important for a better posture and for improving blood circulation in the body. Even a quarter-hour walk is a step forward for a healthy life.

4. Rest
Specialists recommend 8 hours a day for sleep. Working in night shifts and arriving at a late hour at home can interfere with your regular rest. Thus, chances are either to sleep more than 8 hours, or not to sleep for 5 hours.Regardless of work schedule, rest periods must be strictly observed. In order to be able to focus throughout the day, in order to be productive and positively charged, we need to rest properly.

Conclusions

Respecting everyday rest, healthy eating, hydrating and moving, we will be able to fight against so much fatigue and keep ourselves healthy and energetic. A healthy body maintains with a healthy, well-thought-out and well-established program.

I consider that the formula of Iuvenal: „Mens sana in corpore sano” applies very well in this article. So, dear readers, let’s keep a healthy mind in a healthy body!

Beneficiile si riscurile consumului de cafea/The benefits and risks of coffee consumption

         De indata ce simtim mirosul de cafea proaspat preparata, simturile incep a se dezmorti, si incepe dulce-amara trezire. Pupilele ni se dilata la contactul papilelor gustative cu acel lichid, in timp ce in organism are loc o adevarata lupta. Cofeina, sau drogul existent in cafea actioneaza la nivel chimic asupra corpului uman;

  • Cofeina, considerat drog psihotrop (PSIHOTRÓP, -Ă, psihotropi, -e, adj., s. n. (Medicament) cu acțiune asupra psihicului. – Din fr. psychotrope) usor pentru om, actioneaza ca stimulent. Pe langa cofeina, cafeaua mai contine si un alt agent chimic, de origine necunoscuta ce stimuleaza productia de cortizon si adrenalina (hormoni de stimulare);
  • Pe langa savoarea si aroma ce o confera in fiecare dimineata, cafeaua contribuie la reducerea bolilor precum Alzheimer si Dementa (fapt dovedit de studii);
  • Cafeaua – prieten al vezicii biliare-> Conduce la o incidenta mai mica a calculilor biliare si a bolilor vezicii biliare atat la barbati cat si la femei;
  • Risc redus al bolii Parkinson. Cafeaua inceteaza dezvoltarea acestei boli;
  • Performante cognitive. Cafeaua se recomanda persoanelor ce au probleme cu memoria;
  • Cofeina prezenta in cafea sporeste eficienta de absorbtie gastro-intestinala a analgezicelor, in special la persoanele ce sufera de migrene, actionand asupra vaselor de sange cerebrale. De aceea in unele medicamente, cofeina este introdusa ca si ingredient (Ex. Caffetin);
  • Antidiabetic – Cafeaua poate reduce riscurile de aparitie a diabetului;
  • Protectia ficatului – Cafeaua poate reduce incidenta de ciroza hepatica;
  • Previne cancerul – Consumul de cafea poate reduce cancerul oral, de esofag si faringian, de asemenea reduce si cancerul de prostata;
  • Efect antioxidant – Cafeaua contine: polifenoli, acizi hidroxilici, flavonoizi, antocianine.

        De cealalta partea a „taberei” se afla efectele negative ale consumului de cafea. Riscurile consumului indelungat ale acestei bauturi sunt:

  • Dependenta de cafea;
  • Cancer – Cu toate ca precizam in beneficiile consumului de cafea, ca aceasta bautura reduce aparitia cancerului, s-a raportat totusi prezenta a peste 1000 de substante chimice in cafeaua prajita dintre care 19 sunt cunoscute ca agenti cancerigeni.
  • Probleme gastro-intestinale – Cafeaua este interzisa cu desavarsire persoanelor cu probleme gastro-intestinale precum gastrita, colita si ulcer;
  • Insomnie – In cazul consumului repetat si indelungat se pot prezenta stari de insomnie, chiar si narcolepsie (NARCOLEPSÍE s. f. Acces brusc manifestat printr-o nevoie irezistibilă de a dormi. – Din fr. narcolepsie);
  • Efecte asupra persoanei gravide – Cafeaua poate afecta sarcina in proportii minime.

English version

Good morning dear readers and bloggers!

I was thinking this morning about the importance of coffee. We are all accustomed to it, as soon as we open our eyes, besides morning routine, coffee occupies the first place.

If, in childhood, the bitter taste of coffee and unusual smell make us crook from the nose, today is no longer so.

The beneficial effects of coffee consumption

As soon as we feel the smell of freshly prepared coffee, the senses begin to twist, and start the bittersweet awakening. Our pupils dilate to touch the taste buds with that liquid, while a real fight takes place in the body. Caffeine, or the existing drug in coffee acts chemically on the human body;

Caffeine, considered a psychotropic drug (PSIHOTRÓP, -Ă, psihotropi, -e, adj., S. (Medication) with action on the psyche – From psychotrope) easy for man, acts as an incentive. In addition to caffeine, coffee also contains another chemical agent of unknown origin that stimulates the production of cortisone and adrenaline (stimulation hormones);
Besides the flavor and aroma that gives it every morning, coffee contributes to reducing diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Dementia (proven by studies);
Caffeine – a friend of the gall bladder -> Leads to a lower incidence of biliary calculi and gall bladder disease in both men and women;
Reduced risk of Parkinson’s disease. Coffee stops developing this disease;
Cognitive performance. Coffee is recommended for people with memory problems;
Caffeine in coffee increases the effectiveness of gastrointestinal absorption of analgesics, especially in people who suffer from migraines, acting on cerebral blood vessels. Therefore, in some medicines, caffeine is introduced as an ingredient (eg Caffetin);
Antidiabetic – Coffee can reduce the risk of developing diabetes;
Liver protection – Coffee can reduce the incidence of cirrhosis of the liver;
Prevents cancer – Coffee consumption can reduce oral, esophageal and pharyngeal cancer, also reduces prostate cancer;
Reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease – Coffee along with caffeine intake from other food sources, brings a low risk of death from cardiovascular disease.
Strong laxative – Coffee is an incentive for peristalsis (PERISTALTÍSM sn A contraction movement (followed by a periodic relaxation) of the muscles of the stomach and intestine, which propagates in the form of waves and causes the food to be pushed along the digestive tract; Extreme movement of the same type of other tubular anatomical structures, speculation of the contraction of the muscles of the heart, which propagates swelling, and reduces constipation.
Antioxidant effect – Coffee contains: polyphenols, hydroxyl acids, flavonoids, anthocyanins. They have antioxidant effects and reduce damage to potentially oxidative cells. The substance with a special anticancer effect – but only supposedly – is methylpyridine.
Preventing tooth decay – Coffee tannin can reduce the cariogenic potential of food.
Gout – Coffee consumption leads to prevention of gout, especially in men over 40 years of age.

On the other side of the „camp” were the negative effects of coffee consumption. The long-term consumption risks of this drink are:

Coffee addiction;
Cancer – Although we mention the benefits of coffee consumption, this drink reduces the appearance of cancer, however, the presence of over 1,000 chemicals in fried coffee has been reported, of which 19 are known as carcinogens.
Gastrointestinal problems – Coffee is forbidden to people with gastrointestinal problems such as gastritis, colitis and ulcer;
Psychological effects – states such as: emotions, nervousness and beatings (NERVOUS THREAT OF HANDS, HEADS) are characteristic of people they used too much coffee. Also, in the case of discontinuation of coffee consumption, states such as: anxiety, irritability are present.
Insomnia – With repeated and long-term use, insomnia, even narcolepsy can occur (NARCOLEPSÍE s., Sudden access manifested by an irresistible need to sleep).
Cholesterol – Caffeine and kahweol molecules, found in coffee beans alone, increase the level of low-density lipoproteins in the human body. This increase is an indicator that shows that increasing cholesterol also happens because of coffee consumption.
Blood Pressure – Caffeine is involved in increasing the risk of hypertension.
Effects on the pregnant person – Coffee can affect the pregnancy in minimal proportions.
Iron-deficiency anemia – Which I unfortunately have is due to high coffee consumption, and interferes with iron uptake.
Interaction with medicines – Caffeine in combination with some medicines may affect the liver and its functioning.

All these benefits and risks are concluded by tests and authorized persons!!

Conclusions

Coffee is mainly a good drink for consumption as long as it is moderate. An average or minimum amount per day not only improves our mood but also gives us more productivity, attention and memory.

Dis-de-dimineata intr-o noua zi

Are parti chiar foarte frumoase.

In primul rand ai sansa sa vezi natura asa cum este ea, dimineata devreme observand  neobservabilul. Ca de exemplu momentul in care intunericul lasa loc luminii si luna se inclina somnoroasa devenind din ce in ce mai palida cedand toata puterea si frumusetea ei soarelui. Ca tot l-am mentionat si el soarele isi face aparitia. Razlet, luminos si falnic isi imparte razele asupra orizontului si asupra a tot ce inseamna pamant, viata.
