Dr. House

Hello, my dear readers and writers! As you know from my previous posts, I had a Korean series period. That broke a few days ago because I decided to switch to another good rated movie, Dr. House.

I have arrived at the fifth episode, because I don’t want to exhaust my body and also get engaged with other activities. So far, so good. Dr. House’s arrogant yet stylish way of dealing with cases engages me and keeps me pinned to the screen.

I like learning about medical cases and learning new information, so thumbs up for Dr. House! I have got only 8 seasons to watch, so probably I won’t get bored.

Work at home week

Hello, dear readers! Lately, I did not get the chance of posting anything new on the blog as I had a full week, a lot of changes going on now with the Corona Virus outbreak.

We have been moved at home, being „recommended” to work remotely because of the virus situation. Plus, I got caught in home chores and duties and did not have enough amount of time to spend in Kate’s world blog, being too overwhelmed with everything. But I promise to get back! 🙂

How does it feel to work at home?

I got this question frequently from my friends and relatives lately. Moreover, some of them think that if I work from home I don’t do anything. Well, to be honest, it’s not like that. I tend to even work more and pay more attention to my job that I am working remotely and I am more focused on the client and his needs.

I have to recognize that it’s more comfortable to work from the home office, sitting on the comfy chair, being all rolled up in blankets with either a cup of hot brewed coffee or a hot cup of tea to start the day with.

I do miss my lovely colleagues and spending time with them, analyzing issues together and identifying solutions for work-related tasks. But we still have our Facebook groups and still, find a way to resolve problems while still keeping in touch.

And besides, I get to spend more time with my cat and abiding her from getting the sleep that she mostly requires 😂, for that reason I believe that she hates me. But I stopped her from sleeping all day and partying all night, scratching everything in the house and meowing like it’s the end of the world.

Apart from that, I get to stay away from all the unhealthy foods and the mall and cook home meals, healthier and fat-free. I consume more lemon tea, eat more fruits and stay in shape by exercising.

Also now I stay away from cosmetics and try natural masks, having more healthy and clean skin. I don’t burn my hair anymore with flat or curling irons, instead, I leave my hair naturally free, braid it or keep it in a ponytail.

Besides, I have more free time for myself, I get to do more house chores and be more attentive to the family needs. No more waiting annoyed in the station as the bus is late, no more agglomeration in the malls, no more time lost in preparations to go to work, no more loud noise.

Conclusions

Overall, this experience with working at home and staying in quarantine because of the virus is not so bad for us and could be a lesson from which we can all learn a lot.

It’s very important to stay at home in quarantine to prevent the contamination that could occur, to stop spreading the virus and to fight against it. The authorities and the medical services are working over the clock to help the people affected by Covid19, this includes overtime hours and tiredness.

Let’s start paying attention to the rules that are raised in our help, being thankful that we are healthy and pray to God to help us pass this storm that rages against us. Stay at home, stay safe and stay protected! ⚔️

Am I bored or do I want a change?

Lately, I have had this question in mind. Am I bored? Do I want a change or what is happening with me? I do not know if I am tired of the same routine that I have to do in my everyday life but lately I have had this rush of adrenaline, of wanting to get new stuff done.

I don’t want to get too ecstatic and jinx the things saying that it will all go wrong because it is a weird feeling, kind of never had before, but I feel like I have to do something about it.

At a certain point, I guess I got tired of watching Korean Dramas and doing the same things all over again. It became like a lousy routine that I somehow want to exit. I want a change.

The funny thing is that I don’t even get time to do new stuff, I don’t even get time to do get back with my old hobbies, like drawing, singing or even to write on this WordPress Platform.

I have been so busy at work and it seemed like everybody wanted my help in some sort of way and I had to be all over the places. To be honest, I felt exhausted and this week tiredness accumulated and I just wanted to escape.

I don’t know if I am afraid of the „NEW” or if I am seeking excuses and trying to run away. Somehow is weird because I am the one challenging new stuff to happen, I may be too tired of this blurry present that I am in.

All I know is that I want a change, and if God will want that to happen for me I will embrace it with hands wide open. If the destiny will allow it.

Tomorrow is a new day with new challenges ahead, as I am, again working on my weekend. Maybe new things will happen and change will be inevitable.

What am I following on YouTube

Hello, dear readers and bloggers! Today’s article is going to be a simple, but very subjective one, as it appeals to my personal opinions about persons on YouTube. I was thinking of approaching this subject a while ago, but as my time is very short lately, I am posting while I can.

Actually, on YouTube I am not an influenster promoting products and services as almost everybody is on this platform, but I tend to simply watch and learn for my personal development and for psychical relaxation after a long day at work.

TED Talks

I have discovered Ted Talks during my college courses when one of our Psychology teachers decided to share with us this wonderful platform. The video that the teacher at that time shared with us regarded behaviors and human comportment.

At that time, being curious, as the majority of my colleagues (or this is how I like to think) I went online and searched TED Talks. It’s been 5 years since then but I still follow Ted on YouTube and get motivated, informed and overwhelmed with various notions.

Recorder

Recorder is an online Romanian publication up and running on YouTube since 2017, capturing real life stories that occur in Romania, surprising interesting details and truths of the world we are living in.

Bright Side

This YouTube Platform covers various subjects from: scientific discoveries, space exploration, thought-provoking mysteries, shocking true stories, health and fitness, fun tests and riddles, or useful tips for self-improvement, psychology, relationships, gadgets, or just simply day-to-day routine, there’s something for everyone.

Dr. Mike

Dr. Mike is one of my favorite Youtubers, simply because of his chosen subjects on his channel. Not only you get to learn new things about human body and enlarge your knowledge base regarding medicine but you also get to laugh at the jokes and have a good time.

Brad Mondo

Brad Mondo is a great Hairdresser who happens to also be an YouTuber, and a very good one. Not only he keeps with the latest fashion trends but also shares amazing beauty tips and hair tricks learned during his career.

Brad Mondo also created a brand of its own, and its selling great hair products for damaged hair and he promises a lot.

Andi Moisescu and Apropo TV

Andi Moisescu is a Romanian well known journalist, TV host and TV producer that also has an YouTube channel. His videos are of course, surprising Romanian habits and events presented with a plus of charisma and fun.

Cotofan

Cotofan is a popular radio personality becoming the host of Dimineața Blană on Romania’s Pro FM. He’s also well-known on YouTube presenting „Politia Muzicii” by commenting music videos recorded by Romanian Artists, challenging their abilities and skills.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon 

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon features hilarious highlights from the show including: comedy sketches, music parodies, celebrity interviews, ridiculous games. The host is really creating quality content that brings a smile on my face every single time.

Netflix

As you might know Netflix is an American media-services provider and production company which captured almost everyone with new movies and series made to blow your mind. Movie ideas, trailers, interviews and documentaries, all in one place on Netflix.

Be inspired

I tend to love this channel because of its impact above our human powers and how we get to deal with them. Motivation at its own home, real life stories and must see videos.

Trap Nation

Sometimes, when the noise around me is too loud and I just feel the need to escape I plug in my headphones and listen to quality music. One of the reasons why I love Trap Nation is because the sound is enhanced and you get to enjoy various sounds on beat.

Jamilla Cuisine

Jamilla is a Romanian women impassioned by worldwide cuisine. She has started her career on YouTube, by posting recipes videos, gathering only 991K subscribers in present. I love her recipes, and have to recognize that every recipe created by following her cooking skills has been a success.

Fitness Blender

As you might know from my previous posts, exercising is one of my favorite tasks, and I want to make it to a hobby, in time, of course. When exercising I require a certain program and schedule to work after, considering the fact that I don’t go to the gym.

Fitness Blender is one of my favorite YouTube channels because it arrives with different exercise plans applied for every part of the body, starting from upper body to lower body. Complete workouts, yoga, Pilates, cardio and diet plans all in one channel.

Nu am chef azi…/I’m not in the mood today…

Astazi nici nu mai stiu ce simt. Stiu doar ca am atipit poate putin cam mult, si ma doare capul. Cu ochi apatici privesc catre fereastra incarcata de lumina robusta si deranjanta si trag draperia.

Cafeaua slaba de dimineata, cu prea mult lapte si prea putina cofeina m-au facut sa priveghez asupra situatiei de duminica, sa ma simt pe jumatate adormita, lipsita de energie si vitalitate.

Astazi vreau sa nu-mi pese, vreau doar sa ma relaxez. Vreau sa vad filme si sa ma intind in pat, sa fiu lenesa ca o pisica.

Urmeaza o saptamana plina de activitati din nou, o saptamana de agitatie si fuga continua catre rutina de toate zilele. De aceea astazi, duminica 26, vreau sa iau o pauza de la goana dupa abundenta si sa ma scald in nepasare.

Vreau sa cred ca pentru astazi, cel mai bun medicament este odihna si ca timpul liber recreeaza si innoieste.

English version

Today I do not even know what I feel. I just know that I may have overslept a little, and my head hurts. With apathetic eyes, I stare at the window full of robust and disturbing light and pull off the curtain.

The poor morning coffee, with too much milk and too little caffeine made me watch the Sunday situation, feel half asleep, lacking in energy and vitality.

Today I don’t care, I just want to relax. I want to watch movies and stretch myself in bed, to be lazy like a cat.

There will be a week full of activities again, a week of agitation and the run will continue to the everyday routine. That’s why today, on Sunday, 26, I want to take a break from the chase for abundance and to swim in indifference.

I want to believe that for today, the best medicine is rest and that free time recreates and innovates.
