30 Days Change Plan

I’ve been reading „Chatting with San” postings recently; she’s an outstanding blogger and a true inspiration to us all; if you’re interested, check out her page. So, I was reading her articles and she had a 30-day challenge that involved getting rid of all sweets in the home and quitting eating junk food, as well as cardio and exercise.

I’ve been exercising for a while, but I haven’t paid as much attention to diet and nutrition. I’m trying to be more conscious of the meals I eat and to limit my intake of sweets as well.

Taking a look at my daily foods

I eat sweets and sugary foods 7-8 times a day. I started counting every sweet food that I eat: sweet yogurts, sweet bars, cakes, pancakes, chocolate, and even salty and fatty foods like potato chips, salty bacon chips, etc.

Taking a look at my diet I am ashamed 😩. I did cut out on the fast food as I don’t travel so much and I don’t spend time in the food court at the mall anymore, however, I am still dissatisfied. I also used to order pizza or crispy menus. Therefore, from a cheat day, I managed to turn every day into a fatty meal plan, without even knowing it.

My meals are disordered, as I change shifts at work frequently, from the morning up to the core hours, and end up eating and 12 AM in the morning. I am a huge consumer of coffee but in exchange, I don’t consume any alcoholic beverages.

According to the weighing scale, I am now 64 kg in and have 1.68 in height. Now, that is not my purpose. I wish to arrive back at 50 kg, as I used to be. In Julie, I have planned a little trip to Bulgaria (if the quarantine and Covid19 situation will calm down) and I don’t want to look like a chubby girl. I have to try harder to make a difference. For me and my health.

Scheduled changes

I want to replace all the sweets with fruit (orange, bananas, kiwi, apples) and salty foods with vegetables. It will not be easy because I am a sweet junkie, but I need to change this unhealthy food plan. I ordered fish oil supplements, iron supplements (because of my iron deficiency), and some Korean Ginseng Supplements. I will write a post with the new natural supplements when they arrive.

Today is going to be the first day of 30 days of changes. I have avoided every sweet food, had only an egg in the morning with vegetables and a chicken soup at lunch. The next meal will be somewhere between 7 and 8 PM with a few fruits and maybe cashew nuts in between. Also, I made myself a nice lemonade and prepared a large cup of water. The shift will be over at 1 AM after finishing all tasks.

If you have any advice regarding my diet plan and my 30 days challenge, I invite you to comment or join if you would like to, of course!

  1. Good for you for deciding to take on this challenge! I’m trying to change my diet too but it’s very difficult. Good luck to you though!

  2. Oh my how did I miss this? May has been really challenging for me emotionally so it’s messing with my physical challenges. Although my eating is doing good I’ve not been as active as I hoped to be. I have my moments of feeling sad about it too but then I talk to myself and tell me not to be hard on myself. It’s ok! I don’t know how y’all you are or how much you weight but I’m sure you’re perfect. I don’t even crave candy anymore. Yesterday was my first day having chips since like May 1st or so. I haven’t had candy since then either. 🥰🥰🥰

    • Nice challenge, Dear San! You started me with the diet, and I had to continue because of the gastritis situation.
I learned on my own skin that craving for something unhealthy is causing pain. I am 1.68 and 60 kg, still craving to lose weight 😅.
It is okay to have a small break, once in a while, when the organism requires it, but not to make it a habit.
Thank you for stopping by, looking forward to reading your new posts! Take care. 🤗

  3. Don’t beat yourself up over snacking so often, even though you rightly decided to change that. Constant snacking is a modern phenomenon cloister on us by heavy advertising. There used to be 3 meals a day plus so or morning /afternoon tea. That sufficed!

  4. It is great to hear that you made that change. A lot of people never gets past the planning stage to start making a difference in their lives.
