Dureri articulare cauzate de sezonul rece/ Articulation pains caused by cold weather

In ultima perioada a fost extrem de frig. In Suceava temperatura a coborat pana sub – 15-20 °C, cu vant aspru, ninsoare si frig.

Utilizarea de geluri anti-inflamatoare reduce durerea intensa in zonele afectate.

Baile fierbinti sunt recomandate in sezonul rece, datorita efectelor benefice asupra mentinerii articulatiilor incalzite.

Dumnezeu ne-a oferit durerea pentru a ne reaminti ca suntem in viata, pentru a invata sa pretuim bucuriile si frumusetea lumii.

Haideti sa gasim un loc in interiorul caruia exista bucuria si bucuria va arde durerea.

Omul adevarat zambeste in necazuri, aduna puterea in primejdie si creste curajos prin reflexie.

English version

Lately it has been extremely cold. In Suceava the temperature went down to below – 15-20 ° C, with harsh wind, snow and cold. As long as you commute to get to work, or even worse – to work – is cooler than outside, it is more than necessary to dress properly for winter conditions. Otherwise, you risk to get a flu and you are willing to have long-lasting infections that are characteristic of winter.

                                                       Joint pains – Generalities

One of the problems many people face because of low temperature is joint pain. Prolonged state, physical effort and inadequate footwear are decisive factors that lead to the appearance of joint pain.

Joint pain occurs for various reasons: flu, varicella, mumps, hepatitis, stress, but also because of hormonal changes. In severe cases, joint pain can be caused by diseases such as: herniated disc, rheumatoid arthritis, urogenital infections.

Meteosensitivity. People affected manifest: rheumatic pain, fatigue, dizziness and nervousness. Meteosensitivity differs from one person to another and increases in intensity with age, impairment of the physical form and severity of the disease.
                                                Recommendations and treatments

In winter it is advisable to wear thick, cotton or wool clothing. The texture of these materials isolates heat and protects against wind and precipitation. We also need to wear footwear as comfortable as a flexible sole to avoid shocks.

It is necessary to avoid clothing made of synthetic materials and tight footwear because they do not keep the warmth of the body. The temperature in the house should be kept at 22-24 ° C, it is not advisable to keep the temperature below 20 ° C. A low temperature in the home is a stress factor for the body, which leads to lack of concentration and rest.

Movement is recommended for healthy joints! Daily exercise with weight is recommended to stabilize the joint and to increase muscle mass.

The use of anti-inflammatory gels reduces intense pain in affected areas. It is recommended to massage the pain zones in the evening before going to bed.

In addition to gels, we also use herbal tea with anti-inflammatory action such as: devil’s claw, gooseberry, chamomile, cretus, willow and poplar. The infusions of these plants can be used internally – two or three cups a day, but also externally – compresses on the painful joints. These plants have antialgic and anti-rheumatic action, reduce the intensity of pain and increase joint mobility.

Hot baths are recommended during the cold season, due to the beneficial effects of maintaining the joints heated.

Natural supplements based on vitamin C and glucosamine, food supplements based on trace elements are recommended for healthy and functional joints.

The rheumatic diet should contain fruit: pineapple, blueberries, blueberries, raspberries, corn, green leafy vegetables. For healthy joints, foods rich in fatty acids and Omega 3 are also recommended to reduce inflammation: nuts, flaxseeds, tofu, zucchini, soybeans, olive oil, avocados.

Creating a good mood – food for the soul and healing for the organism

Let’s improve our mood! Joint pain can make us anxious, depressed and irritable, but that does not mean we have to flow with it!

Recovery starts with accepting pain and the risk of sharing it with others. At the end of the day, we must embrace the pain and burn it as fuel for our journey. God has given us the pain to remind us that we are alive, to learn to appreciate the joys and the beauty of the world.

Let’s find a place inside which there is joy and joy will burn the pain. And let’s not forget that from the pain and trouble came the sweetest songs and most healing stories. Let us be patient and strong, realizing that someday this pain will be useful to us.

The real man smiles in trouble, gathers power in danger and grows courageously through reflection.

  1. Superb! Thank you katherine for sharing this post.At times, i do get knee joint pain which becomes very painful sometime. It mostly happen when i take curd.Could this be a reason,Katherine?

    • I don’t think the joint pain has something to do with curd.
As far as I know, curd is good for a healthy digestion, improves immunity and is good for strong bones and teeth.
So no, but will be better to talk to your doctor.
      Thanks for appreciating! ^^

    • Thank you!
Exercising gives you pain, it’s true, but once you get used to that pain and exercise every day it will disappear. In winter, try to exercise more in the house, or in warm places, it’s better for your health.
